I spent my career gathering, reviewing, and analyzing information with an emphasis on accuracy and accountability. Those same values shape the software I build for the genealogy community today.

Why I Built This

I built these tools because family history research deserves better than cluttered notes, disconnected records, and workflows that make it easy to lose context. Genealogy is deeply personal work, and the software supporting it should help researchers stay organized without losing sight of the facts.

JustAnotherGenealogist Software was created to support people who care about preserving family history carefully, documenting sources responsibly, and following the evidence where it leads.

What Guides The Work

  • Accuracy matters more than convenience.
  • Truthfulness and documentation should drive conclusions.
  • Family history deserves tools built with respect and care.
  • Researchers should feel supported, not buried in software complexity.

A Personal Note

My goal is to build software that helps researchers work methodically, preserve evidence, and feel confident in the stories they pass forward. If these tools help you do that, then they are doing the job they were built for.
